The first game was a pitching duel between Cole Hamels and David Price, but the Phillies' bullpen blew an eighth-inning lead to drop the opener. In the second game, the Rays jumped out early on winless Cliff Lee who gave up five runs in seven innings.

Cardinals at Marlins, 7:10 p.m.The Cardinals head to Miami to square off with the Marlins on Monday night in the first game of a three-game series. Ricky Nolasco will face Jake Westbrook. Both are looking for their seventh win.
The Marlins won the final game of their weekend series with the Blue Jays, but have fallen in the NL East standings after losing 15 of 18.
St. Louis is riding a three-game winning streak, during which they have averaged 10 runs per game and have moved within two games of the first-place Cincinnati Reds.
Mets at Cubs, 8:05 p.m.Johan Santana will head to the mound looking for his sixth win. He faces Cubs starter Travis Wood to begin a three-game series in the Windy City.
New York dropped the final two games in the Subway Series with the Yankees over the weekend, but still managed to remain in second place behind Washington in the NL East.
After throwing the first no-hitter in Mets history, Santana has failed to pitch past the sixth inning in his last three-starts but picked up two wins against the Orioles and Rays.
