Ruiz remains third in All-Star voting
Time is running out to vote the Phillies into the 2012 All-Star Game.
Fans have until Thursday at 11:59 p.m. to cast their votes.
In the latest balloting figures, Carlos Ruiz remained third amongst National League catchers with 2,448,942 votes. He trails Buster Posey of the Giants (3,335,982) and Yadier Molina of the Cardinals (3,119,530).
Ruiz has nine home runs, 39 RBIs and a team-leading .354 batting average in 66 games this season.
Despite not playing a single game this season, Ryan Howard ranks fifth in voting for first baseman with 873,526 votes.
At shortstop, Jimmy Rollins ranks fourth with 1,332,848 votes.
Placido Polanco is fifth amongst third baseman with 1,236,757 votes.
In the outfield, Hunter Pence is ninth best (1,610,283) and Shane Victorino ranks 12th (1,365,023).
