Jagr drawing significant interest around league

He might be 40 years old and a tad slower than he was in his glory days as a Pittsburgh Penguin, but the demand for Jaromir Jagr apparently remains.
On the first day of free agency, the Flyers’ right wing got a strong showing of support from around the NHL.
“He got 21 offers; I’m not kidding,” said agent and former Flyer defenseman Petr Svoboda. “We’re not in a hurry. We have plenty of time to sign him. There’s lots of interest.”
Svoboda said the Flyers are still in the mix.
Needless to say, if Zach Parise were to sign here
(see story), the Flyers would be shedding salary and that would obviously wipe out any chance of re-signing Jagr, who had a terrific season as a Flyer, finishing third in scoring with 54 points.
The downside? Jagr was bothered by groin injuries and leg issues in the second half which carried through the playoffs.
Right now, the odds of him re-signing appear less than 50-50.
