Free agent update: Hornets nab Anderson
The Orlando Magic have agreed to a sign-and-trade deal that will send restricted free agent forward Ryan Anderson to the New Orleans Hornets for forward Gustavo Ayon, according to The Associated Press
Anderson started 61 games for the Magic last season, averaging 16.1 points and 7.7 rebounds while making a league-best 2.7 threes per game. The 24-year-old agreed to a four-year $36-million contract with the Hornets, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski

Jeff Green's agent, David Falk, told A. Sherrod Blakely of CSNNE.com
that his client has an agreement "in principle" with the Boston Celtics.
Both sides plan to make it official on Wednesday.
Falk declined to discuss specifics of the deal, but the contract is expected to average close to $10 million per season.
Green missed all of last season when a routine preseason physical showed he had a heart condition that ultimately required season-ending surgery.
