Former Delaware point guard Khalid Lewis has transferred to La Salle.

Lewis tweeted the decision on Tuesday:

"Continuing my journey at .. LaSalle University ! ‪#A10‬"

Lewis started every game last season as a freshman with the Blue Hens, averaging 5.2 points and 1.9 assists in 29.6 minutes per game.

After sitting out next season, he will join a team that is already loaded in the backcourt with Tyreek Duren, Sam Mills and transfer Tyrone Garland.

Last season Lewis scored 18 points -- all in the second half -- to lead the Blue Hens to a 70-66 win over La Salle.
