2) Shane Victorino, CF
3) Chase Utley, 2B

Tim Lincecum (3-10, 5.93 ERA) starts for the Giants
(see game notes). It has been a disastrous season for Lincecum, who has only had back-to-back quality starts once this season in 19 trips to the mound. Lincecum’s last start was his best of the season, he struck out 11 men over eight shutout innings... but it was against the lowly Astros.
The only Phillie who has decent numbers off Lincecum is Pierre, who is 6 for 15 with a double and two triples. Ryan Howard and Chase Utley are a combined 10 for 53 with 21 strikeouts.
But that was against the old Lincecum. This Lincecum, at least results-wise, looks more like Omar Daal. Lincecum has a 9.00 ERA in 10 road starts this season, allowing 47 earned runs in 47 innings.
That’s not easy.
If the Phillies can take advantage, they’ll be on the way to their fifth win in seven games since the All-Star break.
