Ryan Howard has been given the night off, with Ty Wigginton filling in at first.
Nate Schierholtz, who played his first game as a Phillie Wednesday night, has been replaced in right field by John Mayberry, as the two begin their predicted lefty-righty platoon. Dom Brown shifts to left while call-up Michael Martinez, who has traditional played the infield for the Phils, gets the start in center.
Carlos Ruiz returns to the lineup and will back cleanup.
