TAMPA -- Colt Anderson will start for the first time this season today, as the Eagles play the host Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium.

The third-year safety is replacing Kurt Coleman, who is out with a sternum contusion. Anderson hasn’t started since 2010, when he made two starts.

Other inactives because of injury are: quarterback Michael Vick and running back LeSean McCoy (concussions) and running back Chris Polk (foot), although Polk was a limited participant in practice Friday. Mike Patterson, who was hospitalized Thursday night with a sickness believed to be viral pneumonia, didn’t make the trip.

Offensive lineman Matt Kopa, who was signed off the Patriots’ practice squad this past week is a healthy scratch.
