Week 14: Eagles three up, three down

Three up and three down from the Eagles' 23-21 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday:
3 Up
1) Nick Foles. The young man keeps getting better and better each week. Sunday, he grew up big time with touchdown throws to Clay Harbor and Jeremy Maclin in the clutch.
2) The Eagles' defense held a Tampa Bay offense that was averaging almost 28 points per game to zero points in the first 30 minutes. After they buckled in the third quarter, the D made some big stops in the game's final 15 minutes.
3) Jason Avant, who quietly goes about his business, doesn't get many balls thrown his way, yet never complains. He had seven catches for 133 yards Sunday, and his seventh grab on 4th-and-5 was a 22-yard gain that set the Eagles up for the game-winning score.
3 Down1) The Eagles' offensive line did a good job when it had to, but gave up six quarterback sacks.
2) The Buccaneers' pass defense -- now we know why it's ranked dead last in the NFL. For a team fighting for playoff positioning, you simply cannot lose games like they did on Sunday at home.
3) Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman came up small in a big game, completing just 14 of 34 passes.
